The Royal Gorge Dinosaur Experience was the perfect visit for my two kids who LOVE everything dinosaurs. It gives everyone the chance to experience science-focused interactive displays, full-scale dinosaur fossil casts, hands-on exhibits with real dinosaur fossils, skinned animatronic dinosaur exhibits and there is a multi-story ropes course and guided tours if you choose.

We chose to do the museum and the Dinosaur Wild Walk. Tickets for this are: $22 for adults, $14 for kids ages 4-12 and kids under 4 are free.

The museum was filled with tons of fossil exhibits and fun facts for all ages. We went pretty quick – my kids are young and were excited to get outside! The Dinosaur Wild Walk was a ton of fun. The dinosaurs are all life-sized and some even growl and move slightly. My kids got a huge kick out of it and honestly, so did I!

The entire experience is fairly short – we completed it in about an hour and a half. Of course, if you added the ropes course, it would take longer. I thought it was priced accordingly – maybe even a bit low. It is the perfect stop to make while driving through or to add to your Royal Gorge visit.
