The Royal Gorge Dinosaur Experience was the perfect visit for my two kids who LOVE everything dinosaurs. It gives everyone the chance to experience science-focused interactive displays, full-scale dinosaur fossil casts, hands-on exhibits with real dinosaur fossils, skinned animatronic dinosaur exhibits and there is a multi-story ropes course and guided tours if you choose. Royal Gorge Bridge and Park

The Royal Gorge Bridge and Park is home to America’s highest suspension bridge and zip line. The views are gorgeous and the entire experience was better than I expected. I am afraid of heights and thought that it would be too scary for me but it was just the right amount of excitement and safeness. There is a lot of walking so bring comfortable shoes! We spent our July 4th holiday weekend in the Gunnison County area. We were lucky to be able to rent a boat on Friday, July 3rd and cruise around the Taylor Park Reservoir. It was absolutely gorgeous and absolutely worth the trip. Taylor Park Reservoir is a 2,000 surface acre reservoir that is popular for those who enjoy fishing and/or those who enjoy beautiful mountain views.
